Days Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara,
Camping Safari

DAY
1: Nakuru
Pick up from your hotel by 7.30 A.m, we drive down the
Escarpment via the floor of the Great rift valley, to Lake Nakuru National Park
to arrive in good time for lunch. It is the perfect place to experience one of
the world's largest ornithological spectacles,The Pink Flamingo, or a rich concentration
of wildlife including black and white colobus monkey and is also a famed Rhino
Sanctuary. Afternoon game drive in the park and around the lake. Lake Nakuru's
claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds
found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The
sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance
the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important
haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black
and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.
Dinner and overnight Hotel outside the Park.
DAY
2: Lake Naivasha
After an early break fast drive to Lake Naivasha
with a stop over for a picnic lunch enroute. Brief stop over to view the Great
Rift Valley at view point before getting into Naivasha for a Sundowner boat ride
to Crescent Island well known for its birdlife.
Dinner
and overnight Naivasha Fisherman's Camp.
DAY
3: Masai Mara
After an early breakfast depart Lake Naivasha and drive
to Masai Mara with a picnic lunch enroute. Evening game drive.
All
meals and overnight at Olmoran tented camp Masai Mara.
DAY
4: Masai Mara
Whole day spent exploring the Mara plains to experience
the Mara magic! This reserve which is an extension of the Serengeti National Park
in Tanzania is Kenya's premier reserve and is famed for its astounding concentration
of wildlife with the wildebeest migration mainly in July and August. On this day
you have a chance to experience the hot air balloon ride over the Mara plains
or go for an escorted walk within designated areas at an extra cost.
All
meals and overnight at Olmoran tented camp Masai Mara.
DAY
5: Nairobi
After breakfast break camp and drive as you watch out
for game. Stop over at Narok to buy souvenirs or just for a cup of tea. Picnic
lunch enroute before proceeding on to Nairobi. Drop off at your hotel.
End of safari.
ACCOMMODATION:
Nakuru - Lunch at the lodge, overnight at the hotel outside the park.
Naivasha - Fisherman's Camp.
Masai Mara - Semi tented
( Self Contained ) camp, has a Hot Shower, flash toilet and beddings provided.
TRANSPORT:
